One tiny resting place - big journey

Appreciating our present spot and the

distant call. Relaxed wings at the ready.

Current is a welcomed friend and

blessed energy birds ride with the wind

like a wave on the ocean.

Perfect order cushions their landing.

The line between fumble and clear reasoning.

A thin twig is a safe lookout when one

recalls that soaring is an option in every moment.

Gravity’s bouquet always blooms and is

right there waiting for our hands to grab it.

Gone Still

A bottoms-up

broken love line for a sleepwalker

                an ultimate act of exfoliation

To quietly drop habitual waste.

           A productive sealing pause.

The daydream’s deepest breaths

that question loud and hard.

Final break from distractions that pull

as what’s-in-it-for-me?

                           Confrontation,

   where the answers

hang like fruit that only the fingers

of time can patiently unpeel.
